The beginning

A girl, born in 1362, who founded the first Iranian electronic supermarket, is CEO of one of the best group discount sites in Iran called “Takhfifan”. Here we talked to her about her business. The idea of group purchase was not easy in the beginning. It is difficult to persuade a group to buy a product and receive discount. Was the beginning hard for you? We included a discount in this kind of purchase with which no one was familiar. That is we offer discount not only on the product but also on service.

We have chosen this name “Modiseh” because it has the word “mod” (fashion) and the name of one of Isfahan villages which is pronounced “Modiseh”. In this way we included Iranian approach in our brand. On the other hand because internet includes searching and navigating, this name reminds us of “Odyssey”, the hero of Greek epics and stories.

  Grind startup is a global program for domestic support of entrepreneurs and founders of new businesses and improvement of business relations in society and it has three main goals. The first goal is to communicate with entrepreneurs in the field of business and the second one is to make a platform so that people can use experience on each other and the third goal is promotion of entrepreneurship in cities. This program was held for the first time by Milad Saberi and with the cooperation of a group interested in entrepreneurship and also public and private supports. So far about six events are held in Tehran.

Most of people know him as a person who works in filtering committee. He says that he tries his best to hinder the closure of websites who has web-based businesses. Nowadays he supports startups and believes that internet businesses should be supported. Here we talk to Ruhollah Mo’men Nasab. He believes that those startups which have innovative Iranian ideas and work on Iranian culture are like Basijis who fight for their country and religion.
